- Hector Bellerin has already personal term with Barcelona ahead of a summer move
- The Catalans have a problematic right-back position since Dani Alves departure
- The Arsenal star has already admitted that his family in England have returned to Spain
Barcelona are close to signing Hector Bellerin from Arsenal for £50million on a long term deal.
Barcelona missed out on signing the 22-year-old right-back last summer but they have now submitted a bid to sign the right-back seen as the heir to Dan Alves.
According to Radio station RAC1, Bellerin will hold talks with Arsene Wenger this week so as to ensure a return to his former club is smooth.
Arsenal are demanding £50m for the player as they have bragging right after they tied him down to a long-term contract in North London.
Bellerin is a seasoned Champions league campaigner with Arsenal
But an agreement between the two clubs is now likely, especially as the player himself is pushing for a move back to Spain.
Bellerin has already said his family have already made the move back to his homeland and want him to also return so he could play Champions League football.
He said: “The truth is that every player of a top level wants to play in the Champions League, especially when I’ve been playing in it for two years.
“It’s a great thing to know about the interest of a club like Barca, the club where I grew up. I don’t know anything at the moment. I’m an Arsenal player and we’ll see what happens."
Barca's new coach Ernesto Valverde wants Bellerin to fix his side's right-back problem
Barca were keen on Benfica right-back Nelson Semedo, but decided to pull out of any deal after the Portuguese club demanded £48m.
