In Kaduna: Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai meet with representatives of the National Democratic Institute at the Government House Council Chamber. The NDI is in Kaduna to introduce the Women in Politics Program supported by the DFID in five states including Kaduna state.
The Deputy Country Director of the NDI mentioned that one of the reasons Kaduna State was chosen is because of the great reforms and also commended Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai on his efforts on Citizens engagements & the policies in place to ensure women participate in Governance.
Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai assured the NDI, DFID & Women in Politics of the Kaduna State Government’s commitment to support the Women in Politics Program, he also canvassed that more women should be given the chance and supported to participate in Politics in Nigeria.
