Twenty six ships filled with food and petroleum are to arrive Lagos ports from January 30 to February 18
- six of the expected ships carrying diesel, fertilizer and petrol have already arrived the ports
- Five of the ships would ferry petroleum while the 21 would carry food
Twenty-six ships filled with food and petroleum are expected to arrive in Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from January 30 to February 18.
NPA said 5 of the expected ships would ferry petroleum while the remaining 21 ships contained buck wheat, general cargoes, base oil, frozen fish, bulk salt, crude Palm olein and containers.
The publication released by NPA shows that six ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, diesel and petrol.
About 13 other ships are at the ports discharging empty containers, bulk wheat, frozen fish, pet coke, containers, bulk corn, soya beans and petrol.
