Zamalek coach plots Enyimba upset in Port Harcourt

Zamalek head coach Mohamed Helmy has named a 19-man squad ahead of today’s CAF Champions League Group B clash against Nigerian champions Enyimba.
In the list obtained by NAIJ.com, the squad has several Egypt first team players and Zambian prolific striker Emmanuel Mayuka in for the clash.
However, the Egyptians will have to do without their captain, Mahmoud Shikabala, who is not fit for the clash and couldn’t travel with the team on Thursday, June 16.
The Egyptian trio of Ayman Hefny. Mahmoud Abdel Razek and Mohamed Koffi are also missing in the list.
However, Coach Mohamed Helmy who took over former Scotland coach Alex McLeish has charged his boys to go all out against, having all but lost their Egyptian title to rivals Al Ahly.
Helmy was disappointed the way his side gave away two late goals late in their league match on the weekend as Zamalek lost 3-2 to El-Shorta.
He told NAIJ.com: “My players have learned from our mistake against El-Shorta game over the weekend.
“It was a good lesson for the players ahead of the CAF Champions League game. Enyimba is expected to be very difficult so we have to concentrate on the game and we have what it take to get a good result.”
The Enyimba Vs Zamalek game will take place at the Adokie Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt on Sunday, June 19. Kickoff time is 4pm and NAIJ.com will bring you live coverage of the game.
