I hate to spread news of death about which I only have second hand information. And just after I made the post about Emmanuel Francis who was allegedly stabbed by some Muslim youths for not fasting even though he is a Christian, I decided to go to the hospital where Emmanuel Francis is. But I thought I should quickly call some persons I know at the hospital. Then I did and was told he still lives. I am now confident he wouldn't die. I had kept quiet about the incident because I chose to pray silently for the young man. Then this morning I read from a friend with usually reliable information that he was dead. I was so angry that I did not even hesitate to make my pain known.
I apologise for the emotions that my post generated. I regret it greatly. Please friends, going forward, let us be careful before sharing issues especially when it has to do with death. I pray he recovers fully to glorify God.
In this case, may his suffering bring peace to the state and may his case be the last.
