Rumour that workers shut down Sen. Danjuma Laah's Hotels turns out to be fake.. Read why

The story circulating on the recently shut down of new world/WonderLand hotels turns out to be false.
The online news that workers shut down Hotels of Senator La'ah is a kindergarten report, according to Sen. La'ah's Spokesman. Distinguished Senator La'ah is the owner of the Hotels. Before La'ah became the Senator, he was running the Hotels and paid salaries promptly, not until the Senator ventured into politics and decided to lease out the hotels.

The people he lease the hotels  to now became sole responsible for the welfare of all facets of the Hotels including the stipends of the workers.

It is therefore,  important to listen to both sides before drawing a conclusion. The senate should have been consultated.

Yes, we all know that Southern Kaduna has been faced with a lot of challenges particularly the illicit attacks by unknown gunmen (herdsmen) and then rendered businesses and other related economic activities static. The patronage reduced drastically because of the phobia of the genocide. The practical experience of the last year's Christmas celebration was like a campus without students.

The Spokeman further explained that,  the Distinguished Senator Danjuma La'ah is completely outside the drama. He was voted by the loving people of Southern Kaduna and he is absolutely accountable to them. His concentration is on the growth, development and well being of the electorates of Southern Kaduna. You cannot expect the Senator after leasing the Hotels,  to divert his constituency allowances and other monetary struggles for the well being of Southern Kaduna to give the people he lease the hotels to. The mutual business arrangement like that placed the Senator as a customer, he pays his bills whenever in the Hotel.
However, the Senator has intervened to settle the dispute between the people he lease the hotels to and the staff.
