Good morning JCB readers... Now with  Award winning hiphop artist based in Kaduna Nigeria. Atyap By tribe and Worldwide by Blood. I'm talking about Jay Mün, " Like the Moon" lol!

Heard You were nominated for the Just concluded Kaduna Entertainment Awards, Tell us about that

Jay Mun-  Yes I was nominated in two categories. Best collab and Best Gospel Artist. I didn't win either though but I'm glad to be recognised for my music in the state.

A while back You released your debut Project, Heaven the EP. How is life after that ?

Jay Mun - Life after the EP has been good. The project went far and I wasn't expecting what followed. I'm just glad I can give the listeners good music to enjoy.

I Heard a rendition you made of Ric Hassani's Gentleman and I was love struck. Tell us about the song.

Jay Mun - So I was up one night and Ric dropped an open verse to the song on twitter urging who ever wanted to record to do so, so I got the beat wrote the verse and recorded it. To be honest I didn't expect it to "blow" like it did. The Fan Base keeps enlarging.
You can get the song here ( Link : m.audiomack.com/song/jay-mun/gentleman-jay-mun-x-ric-hassani )

You've been posting about Greatness lately on Facebook and Twitter, what is that about ?

Jay Mun - Greatness is the title of my best "Unofficial" single it features Eazy Bob Wizzy who by the way is about to drop his debut album #WhoIsEazy and T-san. The song is a rendition of G-Eazy's Me Myself and I. We used the beat and created Greatness, Literally. Greatness was mixed by Aiken Voka.

When is the song dropping online ?

A. It was supposed to be 13th November but I lost all my files due to factors beyond my control. It will surely drop by the weekend though.

A little bird told me you have another project on the way, how true is that ?

Jay Mun - If You ask me na who I go ask ? ......  I can neither confirm nor deny.

Interesting. Any last words for the readers ?

My Interview With Moses Ayuba A.K.A Menxee

Please introduce yourself
Menxee: My name is Moses Ayuba but most people only know me as Menxee. I'm a singer, rapper, music producer, actor (strictly on stage though) and a motivational speaker in the making *big grin*. I'm a 300 level student of English and Drama in Kaduna State University. I'm a Gbagyi boy born and raised in Kaduna state, most people actually have a hard time believing this truth (lol).
Judith: if you were to be a colour, which Colour will you be?
Menxee: Hmmm, let's see... I'd probably be lemon green, I can't say why though
Judith: Name two things you can't leave home without?
Menxee: I can't leave home without my phone and whatever I have to wear on my wrist.
Judith: Your most embarrassing Moment?
Menxee : Woah! My most embarrassing moment. I really need to think this one through. Ok, It must have been one time in secondary school when I got a 'very high score' in a maths exercise (if you know what I mean) and unfortunately for me, my crush who happened to be my seat mate then, did well in it. My heart was pounding so hard that I was almost certain she could hear it from there, when the teacher finally called out my name (you know that moment when you're expecting a miracle to happen, well IT DIDN'T). To wrap it all up the whole class got to know I was among those with the highest score (from behind) in the class. Glad I wasn't the only one tho LOL.
Judith: What distract you when you are on stage?
Menxee: OMG! Bad sound. When the song sounds like it's being played from a phone and the voice mix sounds like someone's voice at the other end of a phone call. Distracted I become.
Judith: Aside music what do you have a flair for?
Menxee: Drama. Stage drama to be precise. I know a lot of people might be surprised at this, but yes I act and I am very passionate about it too. Wanna see me on stage sometime, come to English and Drama Department Faculty of Arts whenever you hear about a performance going down in the open air theatre in Kasu. *big grin*
Judith:  where do you see yourself in the next 5 Years?
Menxee: I see myself in the sky amongst the stars shining bright and taking this God music all over the world. In five years time? Lord......I see Greatness.
Judith: What projects are you  currently working on?
Menxee: Yes! I love this question. I'm currently working on my debut album which I'm going to officially announce shortly. It's a great project I've been working on for quite sometime now, will be due later in the year. In Addition, I'm working and planning on my future concerts, it's a long term plan though and it will begin before the year runs out. These two projects and more come under an umbrella project I call Project Sound 2016, friends and fans, I'm sure, must have seen me use the hash tag a number of times on social media.
Judith: Are you Single?
Menxee: Hmmm...isn't that something? right now the relationship police be like, "you have the right to remain silent, whatever you say will be used against you in the court of..." Me: Yes sir *winks*
Question:  What do you think about Judith Caleb's Blog (JCB).
Menxee: First of all before I say anything about JCB, I want to applaud the effort you put in to do this. It's 'massive' and I love it. JCB is wow! I especially love the fact that you are interested in young rising talents that will in a short while take over their world. From the first day I came across a link to this blog, I knew I had fallen in love, hehehe. I love and respect your work, you are among the very few individuals in the north who are interested in promoting upcoming and rising stars from around here (also, Shout out to the Turakin Arewa, Jakes Tudu). JCB is the future menh...
Judith: awwww! Lol! Thank you

Judith: what words do you have for your Fans? And how can they get/ download your Music?
Menxee: Yeah! To my fans, I want y'all to know that, like I always say, your boy is in the kitchen cooking and in a bit, you'll be served big. I love you guys, and I want y'all to know the support and love I get from you guys everyday is awesome, menh my birthday was superb because of you guys, God bless y'all. All my songs are available online, you can get some of them here:https://t.co/RxGD05FDjM and the others you can get by simply asking google hehe, yeah just google the title of the song by Menxee and download it, plus you can follow me on twitter for updates on my work @MENXEEBLOW and like my page on Facebook. My Interview With Eazy Bob Wizzy: A Hip Hop Artist, Producer, Creative/Art Director, & Web Designer,

Please intrdouce yourself
Eazy Bob Wizzy: My name is Eazy Bob Wizzy and I like food. I'm a Hip Hop Artist, Producer, Creative/Art Director, Web Designer, see I do a lot of stuff. The best way to say this is I create stuff people can see, hear and feel.
I'm a 300 level student currently studying Marketing at the University College of Management Studies Accra, GH. But during the Holidays I'm either at One of the Ostrich Bakeries in KD or the one at Makurdi.
I'm a TIV boy with a lame Hausa accent. Except when I rap then you know Zule Zoo used to be a huge influence hahaa.
Finally my head dey touch sometimes (a lot of people say this so... I dunno sha).
Judith: hahahah Okay
Judith: what holiday do you celebrate? Are you a religious person?
Eazy Bob Wizzy: My Birthday should be a holiday.
This question is confusing tho but Christmas, New Year, Sallah and I'm sure whenever there's a Mexican food joint close by I'll start celebrating Cinco De Miyo (I heard Mexicans didn't create and don't celebrate it, I dunno sha)
I'm a Christian. A follower of Jesus (shout out to Jesus).

Judith: Are you a bathroom singer?
Eazy Bob Wizzy:   Wooooooo!!! The Best Bathroom Singer.
Judith: Rate yourself on the scale of 1- 10 how weird are you?
Eazy Bob Wizzy: Hmmm... 1 to 10.
I'll say Corn Flakes
Judith: Lol! That's a new one
Judith:  if you had a chance for a "do over" in life, what would you do differently?
Eazy Bob Wizzy: Wow! This one is hard.
Honestly, I dunno. Everything that I've been through everything that has happened, has made me who I am today and I don't think I've even started sef. Maybe in 5 years time I'll have an answer.
Judith:  Your most embarrassing Moment?
Eazy Bob Wizzy: Hahaaaa. Dem plenty!!!
Ok here's one; it was in JSS 2 or 3 I think (shout out to my Bristow Sec. Sch. Gboko Fam!), during exams. We were writing a very difficult paper, the whole class was quiet.
Then I wanted to fold one of my sheets, so I took it did that style where you just use your lips then I put it on the table and wanted to finalize the folding by using my finger then all of a sudden.
*insert fart sound here*
in fact lemmi type the sound: "piiiiiiiiiiii"
The whole class turned. Even my seatmate turned and they starred for a few seconds.
I was still folding my paper. Everybody thought it was a fart but it was the line I drew on the paper with my finger while folding. I even tried to do it again but NO, principalities no gree. It was as silent as "..."
I'm sure a few readers won't believe it was the paper either. Smh. How could my homies stare at me like that tho, I was heartbroken and super embarrassed. Who I wan explain to, my seatmate sef no see as na paper I dey fold.
Judith: What distract you when you are on stage?
Eazy Bob Wizzy: Nothing.
Judith: Aside music what do you have a flair for?
Eazy Bob Wizzy: Flair? Lemmi google that word real quick.
Okay, a LOT of things.
I used to draw comics, but now I only write the stories and stuff, Photography/Cinematography, Web Design, Project Planning/Management, Basketball
(anyone who doubts this should holla for a one on one *your funeral tho).
Judith: What projects are you  currently working on?
Eazy Bob Wizzy: Wooooooooooooooooo!!!
My DEBUT ALBUM!!!
It's titled #WhoIsEazy (anyone interested can read about it here: http://bit.ly/NWUKNW)
Judith: Are you in any Serious Relationship? Any Girlfriend or Crush?
Eazy Bob Wizzy: Nope, not even an unserious one. No girlfriend and my crush, Zendaya. She said in an Interview this year that, the relationship part of her life is something she hasn't really paid attention to because of how busy she is and even if something would happen, it'll be with someone that has been around in the past four years. Because the time to meet someone new and then grow to what might become a relationship no dey.
Broke my heart. There might be hope tho, who knows.
I have a thing for Ladies that know how to use a Camera tho (not Camera 360 oh, please). Lemmi rephrase it, I have a thing for photographers of the opposite sex. I cannot explain it tho, but it's there hahaa.
Judith:  What do you think about Judith Caleb's Blog (JCB).
Eazy Bob Wizzy: Maaan, JC's Blog is AWESOME. The fact that you've taken part of your time to actually pay attention to the local artists/entrepreneurs and the like in Kaduna and Nothern Nigeria as a whole is super dope. And its diverse topics too make it interesting, plus other writers can guest-write here too. Some might not see it as super tho but it is.
I believe in a few years time, someone's success story would be like; "it all started when JC's Blog did a feature story about me, granted me an interview, was at my event" and the like.
Don't Stop! This is awesome.
Judith: awwwww! Than you
Judith : what words do you have for your Fans? And how can they get/ download your Music?
Eazy Bob Wizzy: "Shalaat to ma reeee niggas God go make you bigggawooooo."
Whatever you're doing, do not compromise, stay true to yourself and to God, don't stop dreaming and don't sleep get up and go get it. The world is ours for the taking.
You can get a couple of my old songs and a few new one's (along with some from my label mate) on my site;
My debut album is coming tho, the deluxe version will be available on iTunes and Physical Copies will be available too, the Free Version as well, thanks for the support.
Shalom.
