Governor Nasir El -Rufai chaired the First 2017 Budget Implementation Retreat for council members and chief executives of parastatals.
He made the opening remarks and outlined the objectives for the 2 day retreat;
As the first retreat for 2017, this is an opportunity for us to review all that has happened in 2016, what worked and what didn't. This is also an opportunity for us to think about what should be done going forward to remedy the challenges we faced in 2016.
2017 is a year for delivery in Kaduna State. We shall all be focused on completing all our major projects this year.
From now henceforth, lack of capacity to implement capital projects by ministries in the state won't be tolerated.
First presentation for the day was by the MOFKaduna commissioner Abdu Kwari on the Review of the 2016 Budget Performance. He discussed the

El-rufai made so much noise when he was in the opposition party but now that he is governor he hasn't achieved much... he can't even handle the southern kaduna issue properly.
