The Lagos state Ministry of Transportation in conjunction with the Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria (BCAN) plans to employ 1,000 graduates from different universities as bus conductors
– Comrade Israel Ade Adeshola, the National President of BCAN said that the new policy is to give bus conducting profession a new look
– He also said the graduands would be employed as bus conductors and would be on the payroll of the government with a salary worth of N50,000 per month
The Lagos state Ministry of Transportation in conjunction with the Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria (BCAN) plans to employ 1,000 graduates from different universities as bus conductors in the state.
Comrade Israel Ade Adeshola, the National President of BCAN in an interview with Vanguard disclosed that the new policy of the Lagos state government under the leadership of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode is collaborating with the association to give bus conducting profession a new look.
According to him, Lagos state government through the Lagos State Drivers Institute (LASDRI) is currently training and accrediting conductors in the state.
