Kaduna to Enforce Law Against Street Begging Next Month

Kaduna State Governor Nasiru El- Rufaj said his adminstration was taking steps to address the increasing number  of school - aged children engaged  in street Hawking.

Speaking at a launching  of Adolescent Girls Initiative  Program on Wednesday in Kaduna, he said the large number of children engaged in street hawking, begging and other inhumane practices was appalling.

However, the law against street hawking, begging which was recently enacted and slated to take effect by next month will tackle the problem.
