Unknown gunmen on Thursday kidnapped Rev. Yusuf Magaga, a senior pastor with the Evangelical Church Winning All, serving at Kabene-surubu Village in Kauru Local Government Council of Kaduna State.
It was gathered that the kidnappers have slammed a N2 million ransom for his release.
A resident of Kabene-surubu village, Mr. Jacob Wakili, told Punch that Magaga was kidnapped around 2a.m Wednesday.
He said the kidnappers established contact with the victim family on Thursday.
“This was when they now requested for the N2million as ransom.
“The village was attacked by Fulani herdsmen but thank God the people were able to mobilize for defence. However, they still destroyed part of the ECWA church, took away the Pastor of the church and left few others injured”, he said.
