The Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai will receive the long awaited report of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry on the clashes between the Nigerian Army and Nigeria's Shiites under the leadership of detained Sheik Ibraheem Zakzaky this Friday in Kaduna.
The Nigerian Army and the Shiites clashed on December 12th, 2015 in Zaria town, a clash that left several hundreds of the Shiites killed and buried by authorities in a mass grave in Kaduna State.
Governor El-Rufai’s Spokesperson, Samuel Aruwan who is presently in the United States attending a Future Leaders Programmme confirmed to SaharaReporters that the Chair of the commission, Justice Mohammed Lawal Garba will personally submit the report to the governor.
