Abdulrahman Dambazau, the minister of
interior in the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari, is in the centre
of attention over “making” an officer of the State Security Service
(SSS) a “shoe cleaner”.
A 30-second video clip shows the minister, dressed in white, sitting on a couch. The officer with a handkerchief does his best to ensure Dambazau’s shoes are shining.
The minister was not bothered by the actions of the officer. He was more focused on some actions unfolding in a distance.
Some top officers of the NSCDC, who were the neighbours of the
minister, also did not care that the SSS officer was stooping before
them.
