Unpaid former Kaduna Electric Distribution Company casual staff takes case to God

Some casual workers, who claim they were laid off by the Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company without payments, say they have now resorted to seeking divine intervention to their plight having unsuccessfully explored all avenues to get their entitlements.
Leading hundreds of members from Kaduna, Zamfara, Sokoto and Kebbi States to the secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, in Kaduna, the chairman of their association, Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed, said they have resolved to seek the face of the Almighty after series of meetings they held with management of the company in Kaduna and Abuja failed to yield the needed result.
He explained, “Some of us worked with Power Holding Company of Nigrria, PHCN, and now Kaduna Electric Distribution Company for over 10 years and 8 months respectively without payment.
